Message to members: In addition to providing valuable member services, STCU is an organization that truly cares for people. Because of this, it has been my privilege to be associated with STCU as both a member and in its role supporting organizations throughout our community. STCU is an outstanding community partner, making our region a better place for all! STCU has also served as my family’s financial institution since 1986 and we continue to be proud members. I began my volunteer service at STCU as an affiliate committee member. I am excited about serving on the board of directors, and I hope to use my experience in higher education and in K-12 school district administration to serve the members well.

Resume: Dolores has a BA in Recreation/Business Administration from Eastern Washington University; a Masters of Ed Administration from Gonzaga University; and is a 2001 graduate of Leadership Spokane. She has been the HR Director at Whitworth University, 2003 to present. Formerly, she was Asst. Superintendent in the Mead School District, 1997-2003; UniServ Director, Spokane Education Association, 1995-1997; and Employee Relations Director, Spokane Public Schools, 1982-1995. Dolores currently is a District Advisory Committee member for the Group Health Cooperative; a past member of the YMCA corporate and downtown boards and YMCA Parent Advisory Committee; former faculty member with the Washington School Personnel Association training program; and past member of Leadership Spokane planning committee.
